In this chapter, Daniel is overcome by the interpretation from the angel Gabriel concerning the end times vision he is given. As we look back at events witnessed in our history, it may cause us to shudder, as well. Now, we look ahead with uncertainty at the future that lays before us. May we cast all our cares upon the great Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ and trust His promises to guide and protect us, bringing us safely to the other side of our own "Red Sea" that lays ahead. He alone can save us. Remember, pride comes before a fall, and with humility, He will lift us up in due time.
