Matthew 22

Receive the invitation to the wedding feast of the Bridegroom prepared by the Father. Come prepared clothed in the Holy Spirit in robes of righteousness. He came to bring life abundantly. He is all about love and values our relationships. All of the law hangs on the two great commandments to Love God and love our neighbor.

Matthew 21 Part 2

Jesus' authority is questioned, just as ours in Him is questioned sometimes in life. Those who have ears to hear and eyes to see, listen to the parable of the 2 sons. Which "son" are you today? Jesus is our Chief Cornerstone in our spiritual rebirth temple, this marvelous new way and new life in Him, His body, the one true Temple. 

Matthew 21 Part 1

Feel the joyful praise of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, followed by His zealous cleansing of the temple. He desires repentant people to come freely into His house to receive cleansing and forgiveness for their sins, and be reconciled unto God...Not to be road-blocked by religious leaders. Christ is our Redeemer. His love and grace covers us. We gain access by faith as we believe in Him, giving Him our hearts and following Him. Because of His love and mercy, we can approach the bar of judgment with confidence.

Matthew 20

Laborers in the vineyard are all treated justly and mercifully by the Lord. Many are called but few are chosen, Do not set your hearts upon the things of this world but seek first the kingdom of God. Your hope is built upon His truth.  Choose to follow Him and faith and let Him change you for the better and build you for the kingdom of God.

Matthew 19

The Lord tenderly teaches us with a heart of compassion, emphasizing the importance of following Him as a little child would, freely giving up anything that stands in our way in order to walk with Him into the unknown. Trust Him fully that He knows best and we will be blessed to see the fruit of our obedience to His parenting within our hearts.

Matthew 18

Become as a little child, humble, meek and submissive. Trust in the Lord, the greatest of all. He is merciful and compassionate and He will forgive and restore our losses. Pluck the evil out of your life and let Him change your heart. We must not offend or refuse forgiveness to our neighbor or we will be guilty of the judgement ourselves. Love is the way!

Matthew 17

The Lord allows a glimpse across the veil, to Peter, James, and John, on the Mount of Transfiguration, as He meets to converse with Moses and Elijah. The beautiful truth He reveals is we can also know the Lord in a deeper, personal way if we spend more personal quality time with Him. He will deepen our faith to bring us across the veil, to trust Him to act through us upon this earth, as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Matthew 16

Beware of false teaching that draws us away from the true doctrine of Christ. We must be built upon the rock of Christ which is Him and His gospel. See things spiritually and not just physically. Walk by the spirit in faith and keep His commandments. Deny yourself of the things and glory of the world and take up your own cross and follow Jesus to be one with Him and be made partakers of His glory.

Matthew 15

Jesus calls our hearts to come towards Him in true worship and adoration. He loves to reciprocate love with His true followers, who have faith in Him, instead of in performing empty rituals. His heart is moved with compassion when we seek Him persistently in great faith in who He is.

Matthew 14

Jesus shows us, when we apply our faith, no matter how little it is, He can work miracles with whatever is given to Him, by those who believe in Him as their Savior. He also reveals His heart of compassion and grief, suffering in all ways as we do, when facing loss and trials of all kinds.
